Black Zero is an upgrade that Zero can receive that grants him abilities from Mega Man X5. It is one of the forms Zero can obtain, the other being Viral Zero.

Electric Blade - Improves Ryuenjin with a lightning element.
Wind Shredder - Improves Shippuuga with a wind-element projectile.
Crescent Sword - Improves Kuuenzan with a large arcing slash.
Mastery Unlocked Abilities
Chaos Flasher - Improves Rakuhouha with a laser element that pierces enemies and terrain.
Frost Splasher - Gain an aerial dash attack with a frost element.
Defender - Reduces all damage by 1 point.
Energy+ - Increases maximum saber energy by 1 bar.
