Plasma Puffer is a maverick appearing in MegaMan X: Corrupted, and one of the game's eight primary antagonists. Puffer is first reported as causing flooding coming from the sewers, high enough to reach the first floor of the hunter base. His mission is the one of the first three available along with Sparking Scorpio and Neurohack Mosquito.

Puffer fights by spitting spiked bubbles which bounce around the room and stick to the walls and floor, and then inflating himself to bounce around the room as well. He uses the water level to his advantage, swimming faster whenever he's submerged.

Final Four Effect

If Puffer is one of the last four Mavericks remaining, mechaniloids across the map will start to have faulty cores at random. Robots with faulty cores will flash and explode green, and drop purple items that cause an opposite effect (negative health, negative weapon energy, etc.).
