The Max Armor is an unlockable armor available after completing the game at least once. It is based on the armor set appearing in MegaMan X3.
Abilities
Head Part
- Template:AbilityboxAfter taking damage, lost health will remain on the health bar as red health, which will slowly regenerate if no further damage is taken.
Body Part
- Template:AbilityboxUpon being hit, X will gain a shield that further reduces damage taken.
Arms Part
- Template:AbilityboxAdds 2 more charge levels - a purple one, which gives a slow orange-green shot and a half-charged shot, and an orange one, which gives the same orange-green shot, but gives a fully charged shot instead. If the last charge is fired in rapid succession, or the shots overlap, then they combine into the Cross Charge Shot, which has one powerful charge shot,, and 4 extra shots that home in on enemies.
Legs Part
- Template:AbilityboxExtends the distance of vertical dashes, or grants the ability air dash vertically if the play has not unlocked it yet.
Full Set Bonus
- Template:AbilityboxGrants an extra level of charge that releases an energy wave from a saber.
- Template:AbilityboxTemporarily grants X the golden version of the Max Armor and enhances the functionality of all parts.
