An armor that can be equipped by MegaMan X. X's third armor set, originally from MegaMan X3.

Armor Abilities

31.png Auto-Repair - After getting hurt, red health slowly recovers over time.
32.png Energy Barrier - After getting hurt, a temporary shield reduces the next attack to 1 damage.
33.png Cross Buster - Double Buster, which can be combined when fired together.
34.png V-Dash Extender - Extends the distance of the vertical dash.
XMaxSkillIcon.png Hyper Mode - Activate a Giga Attack that temporarily improves all abilities. This Giga Attack energy is restored by taking damage.
XMaxSkillIcon.png Beam Saber - When fully charged, the Cross Buster gains a Beam Saber attack.

Trivia

  • The name Max Armor is an unofficial fan name. It originally comes from Bandai's model kit series labelling the completed Third Armor as the Max Armor, but this was meant to refer to the model kit being the complete or "max" armor.
  • In its original form, the Third Armor's helmet doesn't restore health. Instead, it displays a map. Since this would be useless, we used the Head Chip ability from MegaMan X3 instead.
