In MegaMan X: Corrupted, X's armor parts can be mixed and matched, similar to the Neutral Armor from MegaMan X8. Some combinations, such as equipping all of the parts from the same set, provide additional powers beyond those from the part equipped. Whenever an armor capsule is found, the part overrides the currently equipped one and can be used right away. The only exception is the Ultimate Armor, which is only available as a complete set.
X's Armors
Main Game Armors
The Phoenix Armor and Hydra Armor the two new armors found in hidden capsules throughout the world, while the Ultimate Armor is used in X's intro stage.
New Game+ Armors
The following armors, known colloquially as the Legacy Armors, are armor sets from the original games that have been rebalanced and repurposed for Corrupted as New Game+ content. Their unlock methods are currently unknown. Only the armors from the SNES and PS1 games have been included for now.
