Viral Zero is an upgrade Zero can acquire during the events of MegaMan X: Corrupted.
Description
Viral Zero has an altered body armor, covering up his chest lights and making his helmet and body more angular, and adding a face-mask. His armor color turns purple, and his saber gains a darker tinge.
As little has been revealed about the story, it is not yet known how this armor is unlocked.
Abilities
Infection Level 0
- Template:AbilityboxJump height slightly increased.
- Template:AbilityboxZero gains a much faster three-hit saber combo.
Infection Level 1
- Template:AbilityboxSaber attacks will infect enemies with a virus dealing damage over time. Any enemy that is killed while under the effect of Viral Infection will fill a small amount of Zero's Viral Overdrive meter.
- Template:AbilityboxGrants an energy burst that damages enemies nearby.
Infection Level 2
- Template:AbilityboxKilling blows to Zero will reduce HP to 1. (does not work on instant death).
Infection Level 3
- Template:AbilityboxOverdrive overfills the saber meter with red energy. Saber attacks will draw from this red energy to fire devastating projectile waves. This effect lasts as long as there is energy remaining.
Infection Level 4
- Template:AbilityboxZero will not be interrupted while performing special moves, but can still take damage.
