The Hydra Armor is a water-element armor for X focused on maneuverability and strategy. Along with the Phoenix Armor, it makes up the two main armor sets in Corrupted. When each part is collected, it can be used immediately, and can be mixed and matched with parts from any other armor.

Abilities

Head Part

• Item Magnet - When enemies drop items, they are pulled to X automatically.

Body Part

• Bubble Shield - When hit directly by an enemy, the part reacts with a shockwave that causes damage to the enemy and pushes it away.
• Shock Guard - Reduces contact damage by 1 point.

Arms Part

• Hydra Buster - Enhances the X-Buster with a water element, causing shots to pass through walls and surfaces.
• Cascade Strike - Causes charged X-Buster shots to split and spread into smaller shots when they collide with enemies.

Legs Part

• Hydro Jump - Allows X to perform a high jump with Up + Jump that is extra effective underwater.
• Hydrodynamics - Increases X's jump height while underwater.

Full Set Bonus

• Twin Hydra - Grants the Twin Hydras Giga Attack, which releases two energy dragons that home in on and damages enemies for a short time.
