The Phoenix Armor is a fire-element armor for X focused on high speed and offense. Along with the Hydra Armor, it makes up the two main armor sets in Corrupted. When each part is collected, it can be used immediately, and can be mixed and matched with parts from any other armor.

Abilities

Head Part

• Scavenger - Enemies can drop special combination items that refill both health and weapon energy.

Body Part

• Focus Charge - When below 50% health, level 1 charged shots will fire automatically without needing to charge, and level 2 charged shots when at 4 health or below.
• Resurrection - When X reaches 0 HP, the Sub-Tank will activate automatically and restore 4 HP. This can be used repeatedly as long as there is energy in the Sub-Tank, and can be disabled from the pause menu.

Arms Part

• Phoenix Buster - Enhances the X-Buster with a fire element, causing shots to pierce through enemies and cause burning that deals damage over time.
• Flame Explosion - When charged, X-Buster shots create a flame-wall on impact with surfaces that can also damage enemies.

Legs Part

• Flame Dash - Increases dash speed, reduces V-Dash startup time, and creates a flame trail when dashing both on ground and on air.
• Hotstepper - X can walk on lava without taking damage.

Full Set Bonus

• Blazing Phoenix - Grants the Blazing Phoenix Giga Attack, which overloads the Phoenix Buster's circuits and engulfs X in flames. X becomes invincible for a short period and damages enemies on contact, but cannot use the buster.
