The "Final Four" is an event that is triggered after the 4th Maverick's defeat, affecting the world with effects related to the remaining four bosses, making levels and boss fights harder. From the beginning of the game, all primary Mavericks are carrying out their own agenda, and the remaining four Mavericks will succeed after being left alone for too long.

Warfare Milodon

  • Reinforced Mechaniloids - All military grade mechaniloids with a red paint-job (and Milodon himself) will be upgraded, gaining new attacks and a black paint-job as well. For a list of the affected enemies, see Warfare Milodon's page.

Sparking Scorpio

  • Lights Out - All indoor areas will have their illumination reduced, requiring the usage weapons and other creative methods to light up the stage.

Crystal Rafflar

  • Vine Growth - Vine growths will appear through the stages, restricting movement and blocking some paths.

Plasma Puffer

  • Corroded Cores - Pre-placed items will be replaced with those that have a negative effect (negative health, negative weapon energy, and negative life-up). These items can be destroyed with attacks. These will also show up in Plasma Puffer's bubbles, and when he sucks them back in, he regains health.

Force Starfish

  • Advanced Guardians - All minibosses gain a gold/yellow color scheme, receive upgrades in their attacks, become more stronger, and gain new attacks.

Warp Vulpex

  • Dimensional Tears - Dimensional vortices will spawn around the map, continually summoning high-rank enemies. The vortex cannot be destroyed.

Hurricane Hoatzin

  • ??? - The effect has been reworked and has yet to be revealed.

Neurohack Mosquito

  • Hacking Drones - Releases infectious mosquitoes around the map that infect an enemy in sight, increasing their reaction time, health, and damage. They are also immune to status effects while infected.
