Successor to the D-Rex and REX-2000, this Mechaniloid restores the D in its name. Said D comes from the word Drone (and nothing else), as it is an automated unit and non-pilotable. Mad Joey was not available for comment on his job being replaced by a relatively incompetent AI, but he was presumably quite mad about the whole situation.
Still, the Mechaniloid AI in the D-Rex 3000 is a significant step up from that in the original D-Rex, which mostly just shot electric balls from a stationary position in between bouts of slamming itself into walls.

Trivia
- Although related to the D-Rex and Rex-2000, this Mechaniloid has no formal relation to the D-Rex from Command Mission or the D-Shark. Those are, at best, off-brand knockoffs.
