The Shadow Armor is an unlockable armor available after completing the game at least once. It is based on an armor set appearing in ''[https://megaman.fandom.com/wiki/Mega_Man_X6 MegaMan X6]''. In contrast to the [[Armors/Blade Armor | Blade Armor]], it is built around evasion and non-confrontation.

===Head Part===
*{{Abilitybox|Type=item|Name=Weapon Master}}Allows X to have twice as many projectiles onscreen at once compared to normal. In the case of [[Weapons/X's Weapons#Force Breaker | Force Breaker]], it can be fired more quickly.
===Body Part===
*{{Abilitybox|Type=defense|Name=Shadow Barrier}}When X takes damage, he remains invincible for twice as long as usual.
===Arms Part===
*{{Abilitybox|Type=buster|Name=Shuriken Buster}}Completely removes the X-Buster's charging ability, replacing it with rapid-firing star-shaped shots. These weapons have a minor spread and can ricochet off of walls.
===Legs Part===
*{{Abilitybox|Type=move|Name=Stealth Jump}}Allows X to perform a high jump with '''Up + Jump''' that goes straight up and can stick to ceilings. He can also stick to ceilings using V-Dash. While on the ceiling, X can aim weapons forward or straight downward.
*{{Abilitybox|Type=move|Name=Ninja Grip}}Allows X to cling to walls without sliding, and dash upside-down on ceilings.
===Full Set Bonus===
*{{Abilitybox|Type=saber|Name=Beam Katana}}Grants X the Beam Katana as a secondary weapon. This saber-type weapon is very fast and can be charged up to hit a large area.
*{{Abilitybox|Type=move|Name=Shadow Mode}}Turns the armor a dark color as its original appearance.
